Registered French Alpine Doeling • We are retaining this doe.

Mountain Star Baham Velvet

Velvet is extraordinarily sweet and I have really been on the fence about keeping her. I would consider letting her go to a very good home. I love her length of neck and barrel. She was born on April 28th, 2009. (Velvet is her farm name, you can choose your own name after Baham.) We are naming each year's kids after a star or constellation; in 2009, the name is Baham which is Arabic for "Livestock." She is a triplet mate to Bitsy and Starling.

Her father is Brankton Nike Kipling, (Linear Appraisal score of 90) who was sired by Brankton Goldenseal Nike (Qu'Appelle Seafarer Goldenseal out of the dam Angel-Prairie Valet Kibosh, a beautiful doe with high Linear Appraisal scores).

Her mother is a first freshener, McRingger Jitterbug [she birthed triplets her first time out] who is by Angel-Prairie Wonder Payton out of Brankton Nike Cabela [a double Iron-Rod Bt Naomi [1997 National Champion Yearling milker] daughter] by Sire: Golden Goldenseal Nike x Dam: Brankton V Nettie.

Our herd is CAE, TB and Brucellosis negative. Our babies are bottled fed and hand raised. Call to arrange to visit Velvet or for more information: 828-779-1055 Price: $250
